- vHIT is an instrumented test for patients who visit ENT Doctors or Otolaryngologists for trouble with imbalance problems or have vertigo or dizziness at frequent intervals will be sent for vHIT assessment. They suffer with imbalance while moving or lifting an object from ground level, may have blurred vision, disorientation, feel like falling or stumbling.
- Voice and Swallowing disorders are commonly diagnosed in patients with stoke, brain injury, oxygen depletion conditions, tumours and in neurological disorder conditions. History, signs and clinicals symptoms will depend on the underlying cause of the disorder. Our Speech Language Pathologists will assess the patients and administer various methods/ techniques for speech /voice rehabilitation and carefully monitor the progress of the patients.
- Tinnitus is a humming, whistling or swooshing sound in the ear which makes the patients mad particularly if the reason or cause is not ruled-out. Unfortunately, there is no treatment for tinnitus. At Hearing Aid Centre, we have programmable hearing aid which can be specially tuned to match and mask the sound in the ear. The tinnitus maskers are available which can be provided by our Audiologists to match the exact Frequency and The Pitch of the Tinnitus to make the wearer forget about the sound in the ears. Not all cases of tinnitus are the same, it can vary with regard to frequency, intensity, duration and cause.
